…to make it worthwhile, that is.
New data from HubSpot shows that companies of all sizes need to be blogging at least 16 or more times every month in order to see some positive results. That’s a lot. Even for us here at Media Wise, and we’re a highly trained team of writers. No wonder businesses struggle with content marketing – it’s labour intensive and it’s exhausting.
But here’s the kicker, it works. Content marketing is a long game, there isn’t always instant gratification, but once you get the ball rolling, content marketing can be your strongest source of lead generation.
The data doesn’t lie:Companies that published 16+ blog posts per month got almost 3.5X more traffic than companies that published between 0 - 4 monthly posts. @HubSpot Click To Tweet B2B companies that blogged 11+ times per month had almost 3X more traffic than those blogging 0 - 1 times per month. @HubSpot Click To Tweet B2C companies that blogged 11+ times per month got more than 4X as many leads than those that blog only 4 - 5 times per month. @HubSpot Click To Tweet Companies that had published 401+ blog posts in total got about twice as much traffic as companies that published 301 - 400 blog posts. @HubSpot Click To Tweet Companies with 1 - 25 employees saw the highest return on leads when they blogged more than 10 times per month. @HubSpot Click To Tweet

The only way to make content marketing truly work for you is to produce useful, interesting content that real people actually want to read, share and engage with.
